announced today that it has been awarded a contract renewal from the
Detroit-Wayne County Community Mental Health Agency (DWCCMHA), the
mental health agency charged with providing in-patient and out-patient
services for more than 55,000 residents in Wayne County, MI. The
multi-year contract began May 1, 2009. The contract award is in excess
of $10 million if all option years are exercised.

previously provided for the more than 5 years of service under the old
contract were performed at a level worthy of continuation and keeping
pace with the growing needs of behavioral services in this region,”

been rewarded with a multi-year renewal contract, reflecting our

Under the terms of the contract, PHC will provide Access and Eligibility
Services, Crisis Intervention, and Information and Referral, including
an array of services delivered via Call Center operations and electronic
review of records, change of level of services, credentialing and
related behavioral services designed to help residents of Wayne County
make informed behavioral health choices.
